Sunshine City in Ikebukuro is cool. Miho and I went there last night. When we first got there we went to the top of Sunshine 60, the ttallest building in Tokyo. On the 60th (top) floor there is an observation deck that takes up the whole top floor. They have various lil stands up there selling things, so Miho and I got beer and just hung out up there a while. Tokyo looks really cool at night from that high up. Then we went walking around the underground mall. It is huge...It also has a Cinnabon!!! I went crazy. I had to have one. I made Miho have one too and she thought it was good, but too sweet. Then we went to ToysRUs and played some video games hahaha. After that we went to Namco ManjaTown. What a cool, but strange, place. We first wen to the Gyoza Stadium. This is really cool. It is set up to look like Tokyo before World War 2. It is filled with small shops selling Gyoza (Fried Dumplings) for next to nothing. We had Osaka Gyoza, Steamed Gyoza, and French Batter Fried Shrimp Gyoza...it was sooo good. Then we went walking around, the main part is this giant Japanese Ghost town. In japan cats are often associated with ghosts. The place echoes with the sounds of moaning cats. They had this one thing where you had to ride a tricycle through a haunted obstacle course without killing a cat in a basket on your bike. Now, it isnt a real cat...an electronic one that has 5 lives. Everytime you shake the bike or go over a bump too fast it loses a life. You do it 5 times and you lose. Miho failed. i won. I got a sticker...haha. Then we were walking around and the thing that scared Miho the most was the guy working in the ticket booth to a different haunted area of the place. So we are walking around...I took a zillion pictures...and Miho was screaming every 5 seconds cuz something scared her. it was really funny. This was all of the first floor. Then we went to the second floor and there was an Ice Cream/Japanese-Italian Ice Museum. Cool place. i took a few pictures of it. Got some Ice Cream thing made in Nagasaki..it was called "NewYorkDo." Everything you buy in this place gives you these little tickets. If you collect ten, you get to play in a lottery thing. We got 20. So we stood on line forever to play this lottery. We each had one try. You walk up and spin this bingo ball-like thing. Miho and I both got last place...free admission to the place again. It costs only 360 Yen...or 3 dollars. hahaha. Today I go to school...I am off from wok till Wednseday. ahh its nice to have a few days off...
