Miho started her new job yesterday. She is now also an English teacher like I am. She even works for the same company. It is an easy job that will pay her more than the one she previously had as a consultant. She had her farewell dinner last night with co-workers from her old kaisha (company). It was a ahppy dinner, but at the end her and her ex-manager broke into tears saying good bye. They will see eachother in two weeks. Not a big deal from my perspective...but what do I know?

Apparently that hurricane is gonna hit NC, I saw a news story telling 100,000 people to run from it, run weasels!!! Glad I don't live there, better them than me. I made it through a few big earthquakes and typhoons in tokyo. They can make it through that. even if it is a category 5....are the Carolina Panthers playing at home this weekend?? If so I want to watch them play in a hurricane if it hits on sunday...that would be damn cool seeing them play in a hurricane the size of hugo...the dolphins played in a hurricane 2 or 3 years ago...that game was funny. They just ran the ball the whole time. hahaha...seriously though, I hope those people get outta there...godspeed!
