Last night was crazy. I got outta work and went to mark's bar for a lil while just to say hi then went home. Miho was supposed to be home about the same time as me. It was about 130 I got worried cuz I didnt see her so I started calling her. When she didnt pick up I took a cab where she was. Not there. So then I call her again and she is in roppongi. So I hop another cab and find her finally.

Apparently she found a rich korean guy and let him buy all of her drinks. Then he took Miho and her friend to a Hostess Bar type place where all the girls dance in school-girl uniforms...so now I am making her take me there tonight because when she saw me she apologized...when I asked her what she was sorry for shesaid not calling me...she shoulda been sorry for letting another guy take her to a club like that...

Then about 330am we go to get food and our friend Sid drags us into his bar and brings Miho a Gyro (Kebab in Tokyo). We are in there for 5 minutes and then these guys walk in. I instantly recognize them from somewhere. It took me a long time but then I remembered a song they sing. I couldn't remember their name though. So finally I just went up and asked them...Fountains of Wayne...the band is from nyc, thats how I remembered them. I saw an ad for them performing a few times, plus I saw them at CBGB's a while ago.

Those guys (Guitarist Jody and Keyboardist Steve) were cool. We hung out with them for a while. They were funny. The club we were in was a trance n hip hop club. every song that came on the one guy hated. but overall they were a lot of fun....they performed in tokyo last night, they will be in Nagoya tonite and then Kawasaki (near Tokyo) Friday. We made plans to meet up friday, but we'll see what happens...check out their website in my links menu...
