Day 2 without her. She is in a holding cell in Meguro Police Station. She might be there for up to 23 days without so much as a trial. The legal system here is fucked.

Her father has been a huge help. He called me last night screaming that I ruined hisfamily and his life and that he is going to kill me. Idle threat, not worried bout that. He is just upset that his daughter is in a jail cell. I understand that. But if he wants to find someone who is ruining his family he should look at his other daughter who has been having an affair for over a year. I guess fucking around on your husband is ok in his eyes but someone actually caring about his daughter is not....must be because I am a foreigner. White Devil haha.

My friends here are amazing. I could not be any luckier. They have all basically said "tell us what you need and you have it, we will help you however we can." I am very fortunate.They have known me less than a year, in some cases not even 6 months...yet they treat me like family.

I get the feeling that in cancelling my girlfriend's lease on her apartment her father will want her to move back into the house...for a westernized man he is very traditional japanese. He does not like me, neither does her mother. That's cool, I can live with that. I just hope he does not try to keep her away from me...that would be his mistake. You can't keep grown adults from each other. We aren't in High School. I will give him a day or two to cool down then call him.
