It's been a long and stressful week topped off by, of all things, snow. I woke up today and saw snow falling out my window. So I gleefully ran outside hoping it had accumulated but , alas this is Tokyo. Snow only falls a little at a time and is nothing more than a flurry. I want some snow. What I don't want is the weather everyone back home has...last night it fell to 1 degree farenheit in Central Park, NYC. That's just crazy. I read an article on the net from reuters that had a picture of a frozen over East River with the Brooklyn Bridge and NYC skyline in it. It also proudly proclaimed that the Northeastern US is colder right now than anywhere in Iceland and just about all of Alaska. That's just crazy. Screw that, and the people who complain about the cold here in Tokyo. I wear nothing more than a sweater, a scarf, and gloves and I am fine. Hardly ever wear a jacket.

I also read that the temperatures on top of Mt. Washington went down to Negative 50 degrees F. With the windchill below negative 100 degrees F. Thats mind boggling. At this point and time that mountain is colder than Mount Everest. How insane is that??? I got outta NY right before all of this cold took hold...Smartest thing I have done in a while haha.

Mark is closing his bar next weekend. It's a shame because I really like that place and all of the people I know from there. I have a lot of good memories of that place. It's a shame its going the way of the Brown Derby in LA haha. But yea, he is haveing the grand send-off on Saturday Jan 24th....anyone reading this in tokyo that wants to come down and meet all of the characters in my blog should be there. my email is the first link on the right...shoot me a msg and I'll tell ya how to get there. It'll be a lotta fun...

Starting with my next post my blog will return to it's pre-miho incarceration insanity with all of the goodies all of you came to know and love like the moron of the day and so-on...brace yourselves.
