Mad Man

This judge has lost his marbles. Honestly if a terrorist bomb goes off at the Republican National Convention in NY this summer then it will be on his hands. What could possibly be going through this guy's mind?? Unreal. I wonder if he is a Democrat...just kidding. Not cool. If I were anyone important at the Republican Convention I would be wearing a flak jacket.
What is this guy thinking?? Manhattan Federal Judge Robert Sweet as seen on the July 20, 2004 cover of the NY Daily News Posted by Hello

I Hope She Didn't See This...

A while back I made fun of Rebecca Spitz, a NY1 Reporter who was married and had it covered in the news because she was hit by a truck or something and she recovered from it. Here is a link to my reference to her way back when. Google Search: rebecca spitz wedding. I only bring this up now because someone did a search for her wedding on google and I was the 5th most popular result for it...eep!

Road Needs Name Change

'Jap Road' to Get Name Change. Leave it to Texas to cause a stir over a road with a name like Jap Road. This reminds me of a river in Upstate New York called the Fishkill. This river was the center of controversy after a tree hugger decided that it was insulting to call a river Fishkill because it promotes killing fish. It caused a huge debate an many NYC news reporters got involved and took sides until the local paper, The Times Herald Record (I think) pointed out that the river was named by Dutch settlers. In Dutch Fishkill means "Fish River." All of a sudden all those people had to pull their feet out of their collective mouths and pick a new thing to protest. Jap Road, although today politically uncorrect, was named in honor of a Japanese family, the Mayumi's, that settled there at the turn of the century over a hundred years ago. Get a life and a clue people.
