Follow Petroh-ism.

All you need to do to Follow Petroh-ism is vist his online journal on a weekly basis and pay hommage to the almighty Vinh.

Actually, he is a chill JET (ALT) I met a week or so ago when they were in Tokyo getting wrecked at mine and Ron's special parties for them only at Tokyo Loose.

Link reciprocation is more important than reciprocating during foreplay...

Speaking on a related topic...Miho got her "friend" today...It was late so I was a bit scared (not of the result of her not getting her "friend," but of how her father would deal with me once he found out if the "friend" never came).

4 Dead, 7 Injured in Mihama Nuclear Plant Accident

Reactor #3 at the Mihama Nuclear Power Plantleaked a fair amount of steam internally on Monday killing 4 and leaving 7 injured. No leak is said to have taken outside the plant. This is the second accident at this plant in the last 14 years.

"In February 1991, a tube inside a steam generator at the No. 2 reactor in the same plant broke, resulting in the leak of 55 tons of radioactive water from the main cooling system into the secondary system that powers the reactor's turbine." (Xinhua)

How a plant can have 2 accidents in under 20 years and still be open is beyond me. Me thinks that Japan is too busy building up it's military power and expanding the roles of the SDF to worry about what is going on back home in between it's own borders...sound familiar anyone?

The Hand of Koji

The 'Hand of Koji' brings Japan it's third title at the Asian Cup.

Apparently everyone outside of Japan sees Koji Nakata scooping the eventual winning goal into the net with his right hand. Just do a search for him on Google News. Replays that I have seen on TV clearly show this to be the case as well. Yet Koji claims he was trying to put the ball in off his chest.

In all fairness if I am playing basketball and I am trying to drive to the hoop and I run 6 steps with the ball that is travelling. I can say that I tried to dribble the ball but people got in the way. That would be about the same as what Nakata said about his handball.

China's coach was so upset by the horrible refereeing that he refused to even accept his runner-up medal. Yes the final score was 3-1, so in the end the handball did not matter. He, however, felt that every single goal by the Japanese was questionable. 'The first goal was a free kick to Japan that should have been for us, the second was handball and the third was after a foul on Sun Jihai,' fumed Haan, whose team have never won the Asian Cup. 'How can you win when this happens?' (Reuters on ESPN.com)

Chinese fans saw nothing but red and piled into the streets in a show of defiance rivalling the Vancouver riots afer Mark Messier scored a hat trick and the NY Rangers won the Stanley Cup over the Vancouver Canucks. They even broke the back windshield of a Japanese Diplomat's car as he was trying to leave the stadium.

In the end, the refereeing was shameful. It was a terribly called match, one I did not see, but according to every account I have read of it in the newsmedia based outside of Japan that is the case. If just Chinese media said this I could see them being biased, but the whole world is saying it. Must mean something.

However, what was even more shameful is how the Chinese spilled into the streets and rioted. Yes I can understand them being upset. Yes I can understand them still hating the Chinese after what Japan did to them in World War 2. Which, by the way, was 10 times worst than Hitler's Holocaust of the Jews, but since the Chinese are "Red Commy's" you never learn about that in American high schools. As angry as they were they did not have to turn to rioting. Rioting is never a good solution. It makes matters worse. If I were Chinese I would fear a repeat of Tienenmen Square if there was any kind of violent uprising, politically motivated or not. It just goes to show that you can put a glossy coating over and build shiny new buildings to help mask the third world, but you cannot change the third world mentality of people.

China, for all of it's economic boom and economic growth, is still predominently a third world country. People forget that. The Chinese are better than people in Detroit who rioted so much the city looks like Baghdad. They are also better than the people of South Central LA who riot for sport. This put a huge damper on the whole image of China becoming a "first world" nation. Imagine if the Chinese don't like the outcome of some Olympics matches. Will they riot then too??
