To be in NY This Week...

Anti-Bush protests galore! My two favorite ones are the "Anti-Bush Wet T-Shirt Contest" in Central Park and the group of comedians who call themselves "Billionaires Against Bush." They will be holding a croquet game in Central Park to demonstrate against how the park has become a playground for only the rich and famous in their eyes.

Also really cool was the group of naked protesters in front of Penn Station that stripped down to nothing to reveal anti-Bush slogans painted all over their bodies. Nothing beats a good anti-Bush protest, but these are just funny...I am going to try to link to as many protest schedules as possible so anyone planning to be in NY can see this and take part in as many as possible.

I don't really like John Kerry either, but I see him to be the lesser of the two evils at this point and time. If either Kerry or Bush died in office and the VP took over I would be afraid if Dick Cheney was running America...who wouldn't be?

Why I Ranted Yesterday...

The day before I posted a story by a reporter from Kuala Lumpur who visited Japan and thought it was the perfect society. I put up a somewhat organized arguement to the contrary. I received a lot of flack in my email about it from a few Japanese people and a few others who asked me why the hell I live in Japan if there are so many negatives.

Simply put y'all, there are negatives to living everywhere. No place is perfect. I just find that the many, many positives here outweigh the few negatives. Plus my Miho is here :)

No one forces people to read my writing. If you dont agree with it don't read it. I won't lose one wink of sleep. Those who do read, thanks!
