Giambi's Healthy, Loaiza Stopped Sucking for One Day

Giambi finally hit a homerun and Estaban Loaiza finally won, Why is Loaiza still starting? It will take a miracle for him to make the rotation in the playoffs. It will also take an act of god to get Giambi in the starting lineup for the playoffs. Good luck to both of them. It's good to see Giambi well.

Bush Tells Isreal to Piss Off, Koizumi in NY, Auntie Miho, Roppongi

Well, it's about time! George Bush dealt a blow to Isreal yesterday in demanding that the Isrealis end the "daily humiliation' of the Palestinian people." Good for Bush. Took America long enough to do this.

Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi has been in NY the past few days hamming it up with the Yankess, the UN, and others. He threw the first pitch out at Sunday's Yankee game....an 11-1 thrashing of the Red Sox. He also threw the UN General Assembly a curve ball, so to speak. he suggested, in a speech entirely in English, that Japan should be given a permanent seat on the UN Security Council. I would have to disagree with Koizumi. Until Japan revises it's pacifist constitution and makes it's military more available to world peace keeping operations much like the US, UK, and Russian armies are used under the UN banner it does not deserve such a dignified post. I do think, however, that Japan's "enemy state" clause should be removed from the UN Charter. Japan is a modern, democratic, free market society that very mush mirrors those in the US, UK, France, and so on. It also no longer wants to take over Manchuria. Japan is one of America's biggest allies, and it could be an even bigger one if it would get out of it's set ways. A foreign occupier, America, wrote Japan's pacifist constitution...it was not written by Japanese people, for Japanese people like the US Constitution. All you need to do to remove that pacifist clause is to amend the constitution...then maybe after this country proves itself to be a world power politically, ecnomically, and of course militarily, then maybe it can have a permanent seat on the Security Council.

Miho is an aunt. Mariko, her sister, gave birth to twins Ai and Mae yesterday after a c-section at 1 in the afternoon. Congratulations to the family. Maybe one day when they stop hating me I can meet the twins :)

Roppongi sucks. I was dragged out by miho last night on my night off only to end up being out till 4am....for the love of god. I work in a bar, I do not want to spend my days off in one.

The lead is still four games. The Yanks magic number is now 8!
