Assault Weapons Ban Expires...

The assault weapons ban expired yesterday. What a travesty. I had a petition up here to try to help along it's renewal. Since only a few of you heethens signed it I guess no one really cares that their children can now go to school and some trench coat mafia wannabe's can blow them to kingdom come with an oozie because they can just buy it in a store as easily as a handgun now.

FUCK.

I hope congress realizes what it has done. The American crime rate is about to hike atleast 10 percent now. It's bad enough the drug dealers in the states have access to handguns...giving them an assault weapon just makes them even more confident that they are invisible. I can already see chants of "fuck the police" ala NWO while criminals blow them away with weapons that empty entire clips in seconds....good job.

I am not against the right of citizens to bear arms. I am all for the right to bear arms, just not assault weapons. This is something I am strongly against. I am so upset about this I am just going to end my post here. I am sending a barrage of emails to my congressional representative back in NY...any Americans reading this should do the same. Rise up and make your voices heard. Together we can make a difference!
